Axios Charlotte announces MilkShake Factory’s first Charlotte-area location opening in Uptown at 100 W 3rd St, near Romare Bearden Park, Truist Park, and Bank of America Stadium — one of the most highly trafficked corridors in the city. The brand is owned by three local franchisee partners (Manjesh Gorajala, Shailendra Nanduri, and Deepak Murthy) and joins existing North Carolina locations in Durham and Cary as the brand’s Charlotte debut. Charlotteans can expect hand-spun milkshakes made with daily in-store-churned ice cream and housemade artisan chocolates rooted in a Pittsburgh legacy over a century old.
